I swore to my Wife that the only time I would run was if a clown was chasing me with a chainsaw. I still only needed to be faster than the slowest person around me. Well……. I started Couch to 5K last week. I ran Monday and Wednesday and planned to run Friday, but forgot I was going to the Tampa Bay Lightning game Friday night. Didn’t feel like running on Saturday and was dead tired from no sleep due to the severe weather that came through Sunday morning. I needed to get day 3 of week 1 in. I got home from work today and decided to just get it done. Was able to jog all the jogging parts and covered more distance than my first two runs. Now I need to figure out how I am going to fit in this weeks three runs. I expect them to be harder, but haven’t taken a peek yet. Don’t want to be discouraged. The ultimate goal is to be able to run the Star Wars 5K with my Wife and my 10 yr old son, J-Dawg. The race is in April, so I should be able to be ready by then. Wish me luck!
